Shell Kepler on "General Hospital"

Are you an avid fan of General Hospital"? If you are,then you know Shell Kepler, she played as gossipy nurse Amy Vining on the TV soap opera "General Hospital" on ABC. Kepler died Friday, Feb 1 at the age of 49 at Oregon Health & Science University Hospital, and its not known what was the cause of her death.
On the other side, Kepler was born in Ohio and the family moved to California when she was 10. She was a businesswoman, marketing clothing on the former Home Shopping Club.

General Hospital fans are mourning the loss of Shell Kepler, who portrayed Nurse Amy Vining for over 20 years. She passed away on February 1 in Portland, Oregon, at the Oregon Science & Health University hospital. Kepler was only 49 years old.

Nurse Amy was the adopted sister of Laura Webber Spencer (Genie Francis), as well as an aunt to Nikolas, Lucky and Lulu. Amy followed her sister to Port Charles and became a candystriper at General Hospital. She later graduated to full-fledged nurse and became a fixture at the sixth floor nurses station. Since she was known as the town gossip, no secret ever stayed safe with Amy for too long!
